We provide a continuum of housing, shelter, outreach, and supportive services for Islanders experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
We are currently hiring for the following positions.
The Director of Development plays a key role in the mission of the Organization, which is to ensure that everyone on Martha’s Vineyard has access to safe shelter, essential resources, and the support they need to build a thriving, self-sufficient life.
The Director supports this mission by leading and expanding the organization’s fundraising program, cultivating meaningful donor and funder relationships, and developing the systems and strategies necessary to sustain long-term philanthropic support.
The Director of Development provides leadership for the annual fund, major gifts, foundation relations, and the Harbor Homes Center Capital Campaign. The position works closely with the Executive Director, Board of Directors, campaign volunteers, staff, and external consultants to achieve fundraising goals that support Harbor Homes’ housing, shelter, and supportive services.

The Director of Administration plays a key role in the mission of the Organization, which is to ensure that everyone on Martha’s Vineyard has access to safe shelter, essential resources, and the support they need to build a thriving, self-sufficient life
This is achieved by overseeing and improving office management and administration, leading strategic projects, and fostering strong internal operations and communication, all to support the organization’s continuum of housing solutions, support services, and collaborative advocacy.
